On the 23rd of October 2009 six concepts where presented in Frankfurt, Germany.  The winners of the German Leaders Club Award 2009 are:

Bullerei”, with his TV chef Tim Mälzer and Patrick Rüther, as well as the Breuer family and celebrity chef Ivo Adam for their “Seven” in Ascona, Switzerland.

Bullerei, Hamburg 

Tim Mälzer and Patrick Rüther built a concept in an old listed market hall for cattle, which is characterized by its industrial charm, modern design and top-quality, product-oriented cuisine.
Their style of cooking combines modern German and Mediterranean influences, using fresh ingredients with a strong focus on seasonal products. Their food, as well as the impressive size of the concept, contributes to the vision of the restaurateurs to becoming the new haunt in Hamburg.
A restaurant, café and deli for everyone’s taste, time of day and circumstance.

Mutterland, Hamburg 

„Mutterland“ is a time travel to the past and future at the very same time. The grocer`s delicatessen shop and café makes their sub line „Made in Germany” become agenda. They offer native specialties, which are produced ecologically, all fresh groceries are regional. The Idea of a manufactory and an affectionate cuisine, how one used to know from their homes, is celebrating its rebirth in a modern ambiance. The vision of the restaurateur and designer Jan Schawe combines sustainability and indulgence. His concept is a felicitous combination of retail and gastronomy.

Qivasou, München

Healthy, fresh, quick and on top equipped with innovative technique.The concept of Michael Schottenhamel combines all requirements of a fast-casual-concept of future relevance and is strategically aimed at multiplication.
At Qivasou exclusively steamed dishes are served, surprisingly sophisticated in their assortment and composition. Guests order and pay at the counter and take along a tray with an integrated transmitter, which allows to track the position of the guest in order to serve the dishes at the table.
Eye-catcher within the modern ambience of the well-food-oasis is a spectacular wall-garden.

Seven, Ascona (CH)

Being a destination oriented concept, Seven brings dynamical lifestyle and new glamour to Ascona. Seven Ristorante with its Sea lounge is directly located at the shore of Lago Maggiore and at the promenade seven easy and seven asia can be found. All three concepts are urban, cosmopolitan, young and open minded. The name Seven derives from the seven members of the Breuer family. Celebrity chef Ivo Adam is the figurehead of Sevens sophisticated cuisine as well as the general manager of the ambitious 10 million-project (Swiss franc).

Supergood, Berlin

Supergood is a fast-food concept aimed at multiplication, offering healthy food for a modern lifestyle.  The consistency of how the concept of Christian Baha is geared towards sustainability represents an impressive advancement. Opening hours from 7am to 11pm makes Supergood an all around whole food caterer. The recipes are developed by Michelin-decorated chef Mansur Memarian. The interior is characterized by organic shapes and with a kids´corner Supergood is emphasizing its family-friendly philosophy.

Tschebull, Hamburg 

The born Austrian Alexander Tschebull and his wife Yvonne are restaging traditional, Austrian cuisine in an innovative refreshing manner. Tschebull is located at Lavantehaus, a luxurious shopping-mall within the business district of Hamburg. It consists of a restaurant, combined with the multi-faceted beisl, bar and lounge. Beside the modern interpretation of classics, fine “Schmankerl” and Austrian tapas are served. The interior design puts clichés like panoramas of the alps, cowbells and edelweiss        elegant and discreetly on stage. Tschebull unites authenticity, lifestyle and design.
